Academics
At Brooke High School, we believe that education is the door to a new world. We encourage all
students to challenge themselves academically by engaging in honors, advanced placement (AP), or college classes.
We cannot stress enough the importance of a rigorous high school transcript. Don't be afraid to show your true talents and
passions, whether it be for english, math, science, social science, the arts, or a specific vocation. Please take the
time to review our program of studies for a more in-depth discussion of our high academic standards.
Brooke High School is dedicated to offering our students the best overall academic experience possible. Students have
the opportunity to choose a "pathway" in order to make the best of their high school experience. Pathways are defined by
different curriculum paths. For example, professional pathway students are expected to take at least two foreign language
classes (must be the same language). The pathways available are:
- Entry Level Pathway
- This pathway is designed for students wishing to join the workforce out of high school, with little or no
post-secondary education.
- Skilled Level Pathway
- This pathway is designed for stduents planning on attending a trade school or pursue an Associate's Degree
after graduation.
- Professional Level Pathway
- This pathway is designed for students planning on attending college after graduation. Students in this
pathway often attend a four year school to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. Some of these student may attend
graduate school after recieving their Bachelor's Degree.
